Reentry · Housing · Dignity

Every woman is worth a second beginning.

We walk with women coming home from incarceration — helping them find housing, healing, and the tools to build a life of their own.

EST. 2018 — A NONPROFIT IN ATLANTA, GA
Why this work matters

Coming home is harder than the world admits.

01

No photo ID and no documents to start over with.

02

No money to make it through a single day.

03

Nowhere safe and stable to live.

04

The long road back to family and community.

Nerika Jenkins, Speakers Bureau honoree

Our story

Born from lived experience.

In March 2018, A Woman's Worth Project was birthed by Nerika Jenkins out of her own experience with incarceration — and her graduation from college. She knew firsthand the obstacles women face coming home, and knew it was her destiny to change them.

We help women financially, socially, and spiritually — through mental health counseling, post-incarceration therapy, domestic and sexual violence recovery, and life and professional skills. Because stable housing is a proven intervention that reduces recidivism and costs far less than a prison bed, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive house for every woman returning home.

We believe all women can embrace who they are, define their future, and change the world.
